Stock Grading

Keyboards sold as A-Stock will fall under the following criteria:

  • Keyboard functions as intended
  • Keyboard assemblies as intended
  • No major flaws (scratches/dents) can be seen on the exterior of the keyboard case
  • No major flaws (Anodizing variances/streaking) can be seen on the exterior of the keyboard case

 

Acceptable flaws for A-Stock units will include following criteria:

  • Internal flaws (scratches/anodizing streaks/machining marks/hook marks) given the flaws are not visible when fully built and do not impact the functionality of the keyboard
  • Variances in anodizing on the interior of the keyboard case
  • Imperfections to additional components not apart of the keyboard including packaging or tools

 

Acceptable flaws for B-Stock units:

  • Flaws as stated above for A-Stock units
  • Exterior markings such as micro-scratches/scratches
  • Machining marks visible on the exterior of the keyboard case
  • Anodizing variances on the exterior of the keyboard 

 

The vendor reserves the right to make the final call regarding the categorization of its sold units under the given grading system and the most recent revision of this policy will always apply.

If a unit is found to be lesser than the grade marked for sale, clear evidence of the offending criteria must be provided. The vendor reserves the right to make decisions accepting or rejecting the given claims of quality.
